Surf's Up!

The surf has come up on the North Shore of Maui, and it's expected to hit advisory levels tomorrow, with 20 ft waves predicted! The big wave spot Jaws may break tomorrow, we will see. Paia Bay is in the fun 3-4 ft range today, and Ho'okipa is 10-12 ft. Surfers are really loving the light wind conditions, making the waves very glassy.

It was still pretty cold again this morning! It is definitely Winter! Winter in Maui means salt in the air from big waves, happy surfers, crisp mornings, and whale sightings!

The weather forecaster is predicting very light winds for the next few days. There is also a large rain storm scheduled to arrive on Maui by either late tomorrow or Thursday.

Have a great day!
