It's a beautiful day to come back home to Maui!
After traveling, you realize that sometimes it's better to count on local knowledge of the place you are about to visit, and make your decisions based on accurate weather accounts by the people who live there. I was heading to a small island off Thailand, and knew I was risking my vacation by deciding to go there during the end of their rainy season. I could not have made the right decisions with out Camille's blog: samui-weather.blogspot.com. He gives daily accounts of the weather conditions, and offers friendly advice and recommendations.
That is why I have started this blog. I'm excited to help travelers, and share pictures and personal accounts of Maui's beautiful days. I am not a meteorologist or scientist. I just want to share what happens in my region. As a born and raised resident, I have learned about local weather patterns and conditions of each side of the island. We do have seasons and mountain elevations, up to 10,000 ft, and every climate zone besides Arctic and Sub-Arctic! I also have the pleasure of enjoying the many diverse restaurants Maui has to offer, and will suggest some ones that deserve more attention. There are so many restaurants on Maui, it can be fun but confusing!
I look forward to sharing a little bit of Maui's beauty directly to your computer! ;o)
Mahalo nui loa!
